.Sexy Is Just For The Sexy People

May 10, 2013 by Michael Berkens

Unregistry in a Press Release put everyone on notice that the new gTLD .Sexy will be for only the Sexy people:

“”Uniregistry, the Cayman based new gTLD applicant, has announced new registration requirements to improve quality and combat abuse in their pending .sexy TLD. ”

“The new eligibility requirements will restrict registration in .sexy to registrants who are actually sexy. ”

“Upon applying to register for a .sexy domain, registrants will be required to affirmatively answer the certified statement “Are you sexy, and do you know it?””

“In an enhancement to existing mobile phone verification systems, registrants will be required to input a PIN sent to their mobile phone, and attach a picture of themselves to the reply message. ”

“Any registrants deemed “too sexy for this TLD” will be provided with suitable alternative domains, such as .blackfriday, while those not qualifying as sexy enough will be directed to .help.”

“Uniregistry Brigadier Counsel Bret Fausett stated, “We are optimistic that our ‘keep .sexy sexy’ campaign will ensure maximum sexiness and instill public confidence that our second round applications for .crazy and .cool will receive overwhelming support.” ”

“Chancellor-At-Arms Amanda Fessenden will personally inspect photos of every registrant and strictly enforce the “no mullets” provision of the 100% sexy policy.”

“Fessenden said, “More people are sexy than they think they are but, mullets?  No way.” Uniregistry is still taking public and GAC advice on unresolved issues, such as muttonchop sideburns.”

I have no idea but I be willing to bet that this PR is the handy work of Mr. Berryhill (Talk about Sexy)

Unregistry also applied for .Diet which might come in handy for those not making the cut.
