ICM Hires The Laywer Of The CFIT/Verisign Case, Bret Fausett

August 29, 2012 by Michael Berkens

Two weeks ago we wrote a post on how a federal court used the opinion in the CFIT vs. Verisign case to deny both ICM and ICANN motion to dismiss in the suit brought by Manwin the owners of YouPorn.com against ICM on antitrust grounds.

Today comes word that ICM the operator of the .XXX TLD has retained Bret Fausett. Esq, who was ” the chief litigator in the CFIT v. Verisign case and a world-renowned ICANN-policy expert.”

Since the federal court in the Mawin case seems to heavily rely on the opinion of the federal court case of CFIT vs. Verisign, hiring the attorney who led the charge for CFIT seems to be an excellent choice for ICM.
