Once domain name renewals collapse, it might end up looking like the kids.us directory. 🙂

TheDomains_COM may be missing out on a FREE revenue opportunity

XXX_TheDomains_COM can be a blog focused on .XXX and other new gTLDs

You can monetize it with a new set of advertisers and link from WWW_TheDomains_COM

    _ = dot(.)

145 porn sites . The turnover of icm would be est to guess
SO THE TURNOVER OF ICM REGISTRY WOULD BE EASY TO CALCULATE
75 euros x 145 = far from the 25 million usd of last months

    “The site features 145 sites…”

Might as well have launched it on GhostTown.xxx

On a side note the domain XXX.XXX looks awful.

.tv .mobi .tel .info .us .eu .xxx soon .co
    a few highly intuitive
and years later all are either catatonic or in limbo

    Again …
Why would the New GTLDS are poised to succeed?
    (aside filling ICANN coffers)

well, this is interesting, even thought it’s .xxx.
it speaks to the the issue of a gtld that does not get good treatment by a major search engine. what happens then? how do users find out what sites exist in the gtld? how do they know what content those sites have that is any better than what .com has?

but more imprtantly this shows you do not need lots of sites with content (a mere 145 will do), nor technical competence (a simple directory will suffice) to run a protection racket. heck, a criminal could run one of these things.

a preview to what we can expect if icann’s new gtld’s scheme is allowed to proceed.

Goes to show the number of xxx registrations is small enough that they could even make a directory.

Imagine if there were a .com directory, oh wait there is. It’s called Google.

    So i sum up :
    25 million usd of turnover
    And 145 websites in porn
    Is it à JOKE ???????????
Are new gtlds the same fucking scam??

but as a directory of the sort icm is showing, google is decreasing in usefulness. that is, a directory that allows “site discovery”. (it does not presume to know what you are looking for.)

instead google is becoming more and more geared toward drawing from a circumspect range of sites to answer your query. based on geo, search history, etc.

a skilled searcher can still use google to do site discovery. but for an unskilled searcher it’s getting much harder.

So yesterday, for 24hrs, the total Unique Views for a .xxx of mine showing on xxx.xxx was 113 and 724 Page views

    Very nice traffic!

I have to agree with Brad, xxx.xxx looks bad. Showcase.xxx would have been much better imo, or Featured.xxx.

Disclosure: I own 0 .xxx names
