   Didn’t see it listed yet, but Sedo supposedly sold iPorn4Sex.com for 28,000GBP. (About $44K US).

   Perth, Friends, Country, UnitedStates, Seattle, Farm, Europe-all dot me which appear to have been acquired by the registry for a vanity email service.

   disclaimer: this is nitpicking.

   did _sedo_ sell domain names?

   or were domain names sold by their registrants _through_ sedo?

   “sedo brokers $2 million in domain names”

   there’s a difference. the registrant should have the final say over whether or not to sell.

   ideally, the registrants would likely probably prefer to sell the domain names without using sedo, who take a percentage of every sale.

   am wondering if some read these blog post titles and misundertand what’s really happening, e.g., someone who’s looking to buy a domain name and ends up at this blog. they might think sedo was the only way to purchase certain domain names.

   It’s not nitpicking when you consider that there was previously a post at a well known blog irritated that Sedo included escrow transactions in its sales figures.

   For a long time I thought “Platform sells x” was misleading. The irony is that for most people Sedo is just an escrow service, and a fairly poor one.
