Is Google Rolling Out A Political Site: It Registers GoogleElections.com

December 21, 2011 by Michael Berkens

Yesterday Google, Inc., registered GoogleElections.com

Google has had a blog dedicated to politics but this domain name registration may indicate they are planning on expanding coverage or planning on putting up a full on political site in anticipation of the 2012 elections?

Google is no strange to politics and is reportedly spends million  in Washington on lobbyists.

So it will be interesting to see what becomes of GoogleElections.com

They’ll probably track elections, U.S. map, red/blue, etc. Who F’in cares…all these candidates suck.

    Hello Michael,

Google is the #1 locator for the masses, so why should they not be a part of the system?

Their Think Tank is #1 and sets the tone for the future ! We feel that they have improved on

servicing the publics needs and we have noticed a positive change in their strategies going

    forward.

By the way Michael you are getting to be the only one, or one of the few Blogs that are not

censoring comments. Rick Schwartz new better and looks like you do to. Thanks from all of

    us who notice !

Gratefully, Jeff Schneider (Contact Group) (Metal Tiger)

Yeah it’s probably to track election results. They’ll probably have a site like google.com/elections and forward this domain to that page.
