   OTP.com did not sell for $875.

   The domain belongs to FMA Future Media Architects and they do not sell domains.

   Guys we just got the official word from Sedo on this:

   “”I looked into the sale of this domain, and there was in fact an error in the sales list. ”

   “The sale of otp.com was cancelled by the Transfer Specialist working on it, but the price and domain made their way into the sales list nonetheless. It seems there was some confusion on the seller’s side, as the name was in fact 0tp.com (with a zero rather than the letter O) and this error did not get spotted early enough to prevent it from showing up in our weekly list.”

    so we can be certain the “transfer specialists” at sedo are using graphical interfaces and their associated fonts, probably windows or osx. the difference between O and 0 is quite obvious on a non-graphical interface. there’s no way one could mistake the two.

    also wonder how many times mistakes in general make it through to the sedo sales list. e.g. what percentage of reported sales actually are consummated? doubtful it’s 100%.

    Q: do you have to park the domains at SEDO to get the sales? or just add your domains will do?
