Marchex Sells DasWetter.com For $30K On Sedo & We Sell GoPost.com For $25K

September 11, 2011 by Michael Berkens

A couple of sales  hitting the Sedo wire tonight.

The domain name Daswetter.com sold for $30K

Das Wetter is German for “The Weather”.

The domain name was Owned by Marchex.

The domain is still in escrow at Sedo so we can’t be positive about the buyer,  but DasWetter.de is owned by Zdf.com/Zdf.de so they are the likely buyer.

One of our domains, GoPost.com was sold by Sedo.com for $25K.

That domain is also in escrow and we will have to see who the buyer is.

    Who charges more for domains…

    Frank Schilling or Marchex?

I have emailed both for domains that they own…and their asking prices are high as hell.

    So who charges more?

The rest of mainland Europe are just starting starting to mirror North America in understanding the values, with the UK & Germany out in front. Noted the Italian TuttoAuto.it (all Cars) cc TLD’s went for $45,360 The industrialised European language com & cc TLD’s is an interesting market to watch with high, competative ppc / cpa financial – insurance adwords.
