Another $100k+ Day For NameJet As AloeVera.com Sells For $45,200 & BedBugs.org Sells For $21,400

August 5, 2011 by Michael Berkens

The domain name AloeVera.com Sold For $45,200 on Namejet.com today, leading another $100K plus day for the auction house.

Here are a few other domains that sold today on our sheet:

Badger.com  $27,400

Bedbugs.org  $21,400

FilmGrants.com  $5,200

SpanishCourses.com $5,100

FaceIt.com $4,990

LowCostHealthInsurance.net  $4,300

chloride.com $4,100

energ.com $3,750

EcoHost.com $3,600

Points.org $3,200

echological.com $1,100

NoseJobs.com had a bid of  over $33K but didn’t meet reserve.

Badger.com of course is an animal and the nickname of the University of Wisconsin (certainly well below the “gators”).

BedBugs are certainly a hot topic but $22K for the .org seems like a reach but congrats.

    Bedbugs.Org is good for a zero-stars hotel site 🙂

It’s good but is it $20K + good?

    “is it $20K + good?”

yes, if the hotel has 750 million of social-bed-bugs 🙂

if bedbugs (that have no Credit Cards nor PayPal accounts) .org has been sold for $21,400 then a domain good for a 112 million (many rich) people country’s website, should be sold (at least) for … $1,000,000 … but this doesn’t happen … why?

I decided to get Chloride.com – widely used in a lot of stuff.

Hasbro owns BedBugs.com – could be a defence for a new game or somthing – regardless – it makes no since – but then again I have no use for non.coms.

the sale of Bedbugs.org (that not even is a .com!!!) for $21,400 is very depressing for those who try, from years, to sell much better and useful domains than “bedbugs” without success!

so depressing to think to leave the domains market to the sale of stupid-names-only to stupid-buyers-only
