LawFirm.com Sells On Sedo For $233,000; JF.com Sells For $101K; 06.Com For $92K & More

December 9, 2010 by Michael Berkens

The auction for the domain name LawFirm.com just concluded on Sedo.com with a sales price of $233,501 .

Obviously a great legal domain and if anything it went a little too cheap.

Congrats to the Seller  John R Hardin III, and to the Buyer

The domain name JF.com also sold today on Sedo for $101,000.

There were 6 bidders at $50K and above.

The domain 06.com, sold for a whopping $91,888.

There were also 6 bidders on this domain at $50K and up.

Personally I think the JF.com domain is far better and its suprising that the spread between the LL.com went for just $10 more than the NN.com

In a few other notable sales:

ABC.net sold for $17,500

Hiphop.net sold for $10,099

Aie.com sold for 11,099 Euro’s or about $15K.

449.com sold for $12,599.

079.c0m sold for $12,579

062.com Sold for $12,500

534.com sold for $10,099

342.com Sold for $10K

2 character .com went cheap. The owner should have developed it and sold it on Flippa.
S9.com sold for more than $400,000.

    Hi All,

Agreed… JF .com ~ great buy at the price…

“The domain 06.com, sold for a whopping $91,888″….

    I hope they are a “PR” firm…. I own: o6pr .com 😉

Some surprising prices for good – great two letter domain’s…IMHO

    Best To All!

Lawfirm.com sounds crazy to me, just two bidders above 25k. The seller got very very lucky.

Having sold 4 LL .com and 2 NN .com the last few years.

06.com was BIG money, in fact too much from a reseller. Reseller value $75k.

JF.com was about right, the LL market has seen a huge drop.

Anyone know the total from this auction? must be getting up near $1million? I think it would possibly be a record for a Sedo monthly auction.

it’s, very often, hard to understand WHY a number domain like 449 is sold for $12,599 especially when you see the end of an auction on GoDaddy for a good name like MyAdCenter at 1/13th the price without have just one bid and also very few visits to the auction page!

3 Number .com-s are very memorable , if you can remember a 7 number phone number a 3 letter .com should be easier, some have kabbalistic/Asian relation, there is no shortage of buyers.
