Our Picks From The SnapNames Monthly Showcase Auction Ending Tuesday

June 14, 2010 by Michael Berkens

The SnapNames.com monthly showcase auction for June closes tomorrow Tuesday June 15th at 3:15PM EST in accordance with Snaps normal closing procedures.

The auction for June features “Telecom, Mobile and Tech” domains.

We have gone through the few hundred domains in this auction and could only find a few “interesting” domains.

Overall I would have to say the quality of this auction is one of the worst for a showcase auction.

The domains with the highest reserve are PhoneService.com with a reserve range of $500K-$750K, DigitalImaging.com priced $250K-$500K and an absolutely awful domain, SoccerFlix.com with a laughable reserve range of $250K-$500K.  As if the domain wasn’t bad enough, the domain goes to a Godaddy placeholder page.

Here are our Picks:

3gnetworkmap.com No Reserve
4gcoveragemaps.com No Reserve
campingdiscounts.com No Reserve
tabletdevice.com No Reserve
telephones.us $501 – $1,000
3dgamerglasses.com $201 – $500
biometricfingerprintreader.com $201 – $500
cellphoneaccessorystore.com $201 – $500
killerphones.com $201 – $500
checkdisk.com $2,501 – $5,000
888.nf $1,001 – $2,500
tech.biz $5,001 – $10,000
videosoftware.com $10,000 – $25,000
fastinternet.com $10,001 – $25,000
silos.com $10,001 – $25,000

What a pitty I missed this auction due to selling of my domains on sedo only.

How could possibly sell audiotaperecording ( dot) com?

I remember DigitalImaging.com transacted for $25000 a few years back.

Looks like Schilling is the seller…

Anyway, most auctions nowadays look like the domains are from a random drop list.
    Mostly crap.

    Telephones.us @ $501 – $1,000 sounds like a good price!

Moniker rejected my two dot mobi’s: gpsdevice.mobi & clandestine.mobi – guess dot mobi’s are on their way out!

Approx. 490 domains on the list. (going from memory)

    The results were terrible.

    sold –
    cter.com 1 bidder $ 300.
    GamingDiscounts.com 1 bidder $ 300.
    3dLCDtv.com 2 bidders $ 375.
    CatBlog.com 3 bidders $ 425.

    did not meet reserve
    VideoSoftware.com 1 bidder $ 20,000.

In a couple weeks, lets see who the winners were.
Maybe, the 1 bidder won all of them??

I like FastInternet.com. If it’s an end-user virgin, that one should have some post-sale legs.
