    I am surprised that (NNN) like these sold so high. It will be interesting to see if this trend/comeback will continue on (NNN.com) names.

    Thanks, Jim

    3N.com and 4N.com have been on fire lately.

    Jim

    I think if anything these are selling on the low end of what they are worth

    I agree they are selling at below value and that the trend will continue simply because the supply is low (see below) while the number of those who can utilise them in URLs is high:

    3N.com = 10 x 10 x 10 = 1,000
    4N.com = 10 x 10 x 10 x 10 = 10,000

    3L.com = 26 x 26 x 26 = 17,576
    4L.com = 26 x 26 x 26 x 26 = 456,976

    CVCV.com = 21 x 5 x 21 x 5 = 11,025
    CVCV.com = 20 x 6 x 20 x 6 = 14,400
    (if y is considered a vowel)

    There were a few reported in the six figures each, a couple of years ago

    Has anyone tracked what happens with 3 number .com’s. I’m unclear on the appeal. Type-in would be non-existent. So are they branded in accordance with an existing company who uses those numbers in some way?

    I get traffic to the few I have.

    I own 345.com I would not consider offers for ]less than mid six figures.

    Numbered names are huge in asia

    163.com is one of the top 30 most visited sites on the next

    56.com top 200

    888.com also has huge traffic just to mention a few

    163.com and 56.com are asian, as you say.

    888.com is a nicely developed gambling site. I had just never been to a numbered site. I can see the 888.com as being an easy access potal to the gambling site. Certainly easy to remember and to type in. Big traffic as well to that one.
