I think Yahoo is making some strides…..actually to my surprise.

I’m still not sure it is enough and not too late.

    Hello Mike,

As is often the case the first to market with a branding concept that targets search in the search industry usually holds sway. GOOGLES market penetration is so vast and lucrative that there are bound to be some competitors chipping away at market share. They certainly have a commanding lead. Even so just 1% of market share is more than most companies garner and therefore there will be future players entering the ring. They definitely are the Goliath and there may be a David that appears.

    Gratefully
    Jeff

The greatest threat (read: income) to Google comes not from other search providers, but to companies like Facebook and MySpace . . . because the advertisers will follow where the greatest number of people spend the greatest amount of time.

    And they know it.

    I wouldn’t call this a trend…yet.

    Give it 3 more reports…
