There are some good opportunities here. I think .me is excellent for branding and guys like Bruce Marler are getting .me domains to rank well in Google.

I agree they can be great branding names but blech…I don’t like any of these.

as blu-ray is a trademark, what are the chances that one might loose blueray.me or blue-ray.me in a WIPO ?

    Snick

I you just park it, pretty good chance IMHO

A few nice gems in there. And with more awareness coming for the extension (FB.me, WP.me, and the movie promotion for Despicable.me) this extension is here to stay. I have started to see more .MEs in searches when not even checking my own rankings.

Thanks for pointing out the Auction MHB:)

I understand that because CustomerService.com didn’t sell at the recent Las Vegas TRAFFIC auction, it will be up for auction again (with a lower reserve) at the TRAFFIC conference in Milan, Italy in late April.

Just wanted to share the most pointless .me domain I’ve seen:
    http://please.do.not.disturb.me/

    Jason

    This is a subdomain.

The domain is disturb.me, everything to the ledft indicates a subdomain maybe used for a campaign but should reflect on the domain itself.

I have seen a ton worse, actually anything that isn’t a first or last name, a Geo name, or a word or phrase that naturally flows with .me is questionable like greatcreditscore.me
