CNET.com has just released a video presentation called “Top 5 Most Expensive Domain Names”.

I will leave the surprise top 5 list for you to watch.

Watch the video.

Here’s the question that the video ends with, How valuable are domains, because how many of the top 5 have you visited this week?

No wonder CNET is parking radio.com, they are clueless when it comes to domains, which is just said for an online media company.

    Just watched it.

    I don’t know why some Cnet posters thought Beer.com sold for 7MM in 2004. I guess they don’t read DN Journal 🙂

    @Reece…

    ummm… because it did sell for that much?

    @ Cartoonz – yes, but the sale was in 1999 – not 2004.

    I don’t think the original owners of Cnet would describe premium domains as anything other than invaluable.

    Did you happen to see the tags they used for the story?

    It seem strange to me why Cnet would say domains arent worth that much!

    Look at the portfolio they own – They wouldnt sell them for less than millions each – just crazy.

    Hah. I agree Robbie… I doubt that guy or the writers are even aware of CNET’s domain portfolio.
