Yahoo Introduces Digital Advertising Platform

September 25, 2008 by Michael Berkens

Yahoo introduced its digital advertising platform for publishers, called APT.

The new Apt from Yahoo platform will initially involve newspapers in a 2-year-old consortium led by Yahoo.

The platform promises to make it easier for advertisers and publishers alike to buy and sell display ads.

Yahoo President Sue Decker said in an interview with The Associated Press that Apt positions the company to capture growth in display advertising following several years of focus on search.
