“At Register.com we work with almost one million small business customers who rely on the Internet to operate and grow their businesses. Small businesses are a large, technology-using segment of the population and we want to make sure their voices are heard in the upcoming election,” said Larry Kutscher, Chief Executive Officer of Register.com. “This is just another way that Register.com serves as more than just a vendor for small business web services — we are a partner to help our small business customers be successful online.”
The Register.com Customer Opinion Poll was conducted as an informal survey of Register.com customers between August 23 and September 4, 2008.
Responses were received from over 700 Register.com customers, 90% of which identified themselves as small businesses. Responses were collected through an online survey provider and results were tallied based on complete responses.
Overall, 93% of respondents indicated their intention to vote in the Presidential election in November.
49.9% of respondents said they are planning to vote for Senator McCain in the upcoming election vs. 35.2% who said they would vote for Senator Obama.
Here is the disclaimer:
Register.com does not endorse either candidate. Opinions reflected in survey responses are those of the company’s customers and do not necessarily reflect the opinions of Register.com, its investors, employees and staff.
And for us we are just reporting the results announced by register.com
And how many major domain holders register their domains at Register.com?
I don’t know whether I want Tina Fey or Sarah Palin to take over as President of USA when McCain kicks the bucket 4 months into the presidency. Since Palin repeats everything her Bush handlers say, I’m not sure I want a puppet again in the White House.
interesting survey especially since MC confessed he does not know how to send an email. we are so blind in this country.
Frankie, could we be so blind that we’d vote in a surrogate mother for Bush’s policy child? I mean, we voted for Bush TWICE, even though HS dropouts could beat him in a history debate.
Stop giving register.com free links and traffic. That is the only reason their PR firm keeps putting out this dribble. They are bleeding customers and their management has absolutely no clue what they are doing. They can blame the economy all they want but can see that registrations and hosting sales are UP UP UP even in this down economy.
Why do Democrats feel smarter than Republicans?
Why talk about this partisan junk here?
