Google to Provide Verizon Search?

The Wall Street Journal is reporting that Verizon Communications Inc. is nearing an agreement with Google Inc. on a wide-ranging partnership, including providing Verizon mobile search results.

The deal under discussion, which would make Google the default search provider on Verizon devices and give Verizon a share of ad revenue,

According to the Journal the deal isn’t yet final and negotiations are still under way on key issues, such as Google’s desire to save information from user cellphone searches.
