Communicate.com (CMNN.ob) changed its name to Live Current Media, Inc.
The company also announced it has entered into an agreement to acquire Auctomatic, an early stage start-up. Auctomatic has developed commerce technology and tools that enable sellers to easily transact online through sites such as eBay. The acquisition is expected to close in May.
The company had this to say about the acquisition of auctomatic:

Live Current will apply Auctomatic’s commerce technology to Perfume.com and other commerce destinations.””””
According to it’s corporate blog the company gave the following as it reason to change it’s name: “”””You may wonder why we’ve chosen to change the name, and the answer is simply this: we are a new company. As a new media company, we have a clear direction, strategy and the team in place to deliver on our mission of building, owning and operating some of the most engaging content and commerce destinations on the Internet.”””
The stock is up $.11 in trading to $2.80 today.
