Welcome to the Daily Roundup for July 18, 2016

Domain movements spotted by Mike

Pfizer Inc. buys the domain name CoverMySkin.com  from Morgan Creative Group out of Scottsdale.

MeMe.co  which had a Buy It Now Price of $10K just cleared @Sedo escrow.com.

The domain name BeaPepper.com just went into @sedo escrow selling to I would  guess to Dr. Pepper

China’s startup funding is still booming, $37b raised in first half of year

TechAsia reported the news on funding in China for the first half of 2016. That’s just over double the tally in the same period last year.

China Domain News

Kassey Lee from Coreile.com wrote the following:

DJZ.com sold for $40k (268k yuan) in recent auction. DJZ may mean 等兼职 (waiting for a second job), 登记证 (registration certificate), or 第九章 (chapter 9).

Logistics firm Zhong Tong (中通) upgraded from zto.cn to zto.com to ready for IPO in USA and going global, but domain name not exact match of company name. ZT.com would be perfect by cutting out the “o” in its .com name.

Flashback

QZ.com published a look at Amazon 21 years ago when it launched in July of 1995.

Funny/Unfortunate recently expired name of the day

IHateAllMen.com regged in 2009.
Have a good one
