DNPric.es issued a report to “compare three pretty equal new gTLDs and see how they do in terms of various key performing indicators, .EXPERT, .GURU, and .NINJA.”
“They were delegated around the same time a year and a half ago. About half of all registrations in each zone originate from the United States. All three are operated by strong registries and all of them are relatively short, comparing to the rest of new extensions. “
You can visit the site for all the numbers regarding registrations and other particulars, but as far as domainers are concerned its the Aftermarket which determine the success of the extension
Based on these numbers .Expert had higher dollar sales but only 4 of them.
.Guru had many more sales but only one reported sale in the five figures.
.Ninja according to DNPric.es only had two Aftermarket sales.
Having said that here are the reported sales of $150 or more for each of these three new gTLD’s according to DNPric.es.
Also to be clear these are Aftermarket sales and does reflect what people spent in Early Access Periods to acquire domains in these extensions
Here are the reported sales for .Expert:
| Domain name | Date | Price | Broker |
| autogas.expert | May 2014 | $ 12,500.00 USD | GoDaddy |
| kneesurgery.expert | May 2014 | $ 12,500.00 USD | MelbourneIT |
| move.expert | May 2014 | $ 12,500.00 USD | GoDaddy |
| propane.expert | May 2014 | $ 12,500.00 USD | GoDaddy |

Here the reported aftermarket sales for .Ninja of $150 or more:

| security.ninja | June 2014 | $ 1,525.00 USD | AfterNIC/GoDaddy |

Interestingly, 7 out of 28 domains listed above (25%) have matching .COM versions that remain unregistered.
From what I could tell, in those cases the nTLD domains are all parked or else don’t resolve.
