Three new gTLD domain name extensions launched into General Availability (GA) yesterday, where domains can be registered on a first come, first served basis.
Including the domain names registered in the Sunrise period by trademark holders and those who paid an extra fee to register domain name ahead of GA in the Early Access Program (EAP) here are the number of domain names in the zone file after the first day of GA are as follows:
.School 1,933
.Football 1,730
.Casino 1,447
Keep in mind that unlike earlier new gTLD launches there are a lot more domain name available in the new releases including names that were on the collision list and Donuts has been reserving less and making more domain names available for registration albeit with premium domain name registration and renewal pricing.
