Donuts has won one of the top 10 new gTLD strings in our opinion, .News beating out among others, Amazon, Uniregistry, Radix, Famous Four.
PRIMER NIVEL S.A of Panama and Merchant Law Group LLP also had applications in on .News.
In my opinion .News is a top 10 new gTLD extension as it goes with almost every word sort of like a .Club
As always we don’t know what the string sold for.
In my opinion I would say i.News had to sell for more than $10 million and actually would be surprised if it sold for less than $20 million but I’m just guessing.
This is another new gTLD that was scheduled to go to the ICANN Last Resort Auctions later this month.
Donuts has now won the 4 of the last 5 auctions that we have tracked losing only .Basketball.

DOT Club is much more broad than DOT News.
Where does Paul & co. go after i.News you mention and maybe 1,000 more where DOT Club even makes me ALMOST a believer is some success ?
