As the father of Lana Del Rey seems as Rob is getting into the action,  with a play off of Lady Gaga fans which are known as Little Monsters with LittleRobsters.com

Speaking of Lana Del Rey she was nominated for several Grammy  Awards including “Best Pop Vocal Album” and Best Song Written For Visual Media” which basically means best song from the soundtrack of a movie.

Lana is also one of the favorites to receive a Oscar Nomination for best song for Young & Beautiful from the sound track of The Great Gatsby.

Lana also released a short film Tropico (27 Minutes) at a December 5th premier in Los Angeles. you can view it online at Vevo.com or buy it on iTunes.

Just saw her show at red rocks, Colorado amphitheater on Monday..
unbelievable setting and an unbelievable voice – and her new stuff shows how creative she is – as I think it caters to a slightly different audience – namely me. I equate it to U2 continually redefining themselves.
First concert for my 8.5 year daughter – ear to ear smiles

Sounds like it would be a good venue for Ms del Rey’s voice, as it becomes a whisper soft in parts . . . thanx for mention of Red Rock Amphitheatre! I just looked it up on Wikipedia, and it quotes

Renowned opera singer Mary Garden put Red Rocks on the world musical map with her performance on May 10, 1911. Having performed at many opera halls around the world, she pronounced Red Rocks the finest venue at which she had ever performed.

Sounds like good acoustics, and a beautiful setting!
