hmm, maybe some kind of European thing?

or, they watched Daniel’s video and were sold.

    or, Fiverr?

Really? With some proxies and a bot anyone can make any extension get into the Top 5. We’ll see when everything launches because the sales numbers won’t lie.

A pre-registration is non binding, requires no commitment, and no money changes hands. Therefore taking those numbers and trying to project real world demand has very limited value. Obviously a system that is non-binding, where no money changes hands is very easy to manipulate.

Gotta keep pimpin those GTLDs. 1 and 1 has been running that misleading ad for a month now, and they only have 45,000 pre reservations? And that is good enough to be in the top 5? @ $10 price point thats $450,000. That would cover the application costs, a few weeks of marketing and a couple of boxes of t-shirts. We don’t even know if 1 and 1 will be selling .xyz domains. Not exactly a pre-registration panic as far as I can tell.

Great, the more classifieds the better. I am down for .GURU & hoping that the (G) God.Guru will put me at top !!

but seriously, in the long term, the more the better.

    Come to think about it…
Romeo really knows what he is doing…
By targeting the “Age bracket” most likely to be interested and register such an aberration of extension..
    “18 and under”
    (using Mom’s credit card)

    Romeo you are a genius!

.XYZ will crush all other TLDs! .COM included. I’ve just been saying otherwise all this time, so less people will invest in the new gTLDs. I am pre-registering all I can, so I’m guaranteed to maybe get some of them! (sarc)

I’ve been gone for awhile on a biz trip to China and India… anyway, casually speaking to them, by far their first choice would still be .COM. Go figure. (not sarc)
