Walmart, Sony, CBS, Microsoft, Google, Disney Still Allowing TM Drop Domains To Be Grabbed By Others

As we have chatted about before, some of the biggest companies in the world which are quick to file a UDRP with filing fees at $1,500 a pop are allowing dropping domains to be registered by third parties rather than spending $10 to register the domains themselves.

Most of the domains wind up parked or going to a registrar placeholder.

These are not typo domain names.

They are pretty bang on domain names for these companies products or the company itself.

All are .com’s

All are trademarked terms.

The companies that appear not to be going through the drop lists we found include Walmart, Sony, CBS, NBC, Microsoft, Google, Disney, MGM, Paypal, Visa, Sharp, Cannon, Panasonic, Nintendo, LouisVuitton and the NCAA.

As always there are a lot more trademark type of domains which dropped in the last 30 days,  which are still unregistered, but we do have a policy of not publishing available trademarked domains.
