Did Someone Today Put At Risk Losing A $100K Domain In A UDRP?

I got the newsletter from Calvin Washington at Perfect Investments about a hour ago and was shocked to see the domain name Ferraris.com as the star of the newsletter with an asking price of $100,000.

The domain name goes to a parked page and has links to » Ferrari Photos » Ferrari F430 » Maserati Cars as well as rental car companies.

Its a domain name that could be problematic to being with, then to park it and put it on top of in a newsletter sent out to who knows how many people with a six figure price tag, well in my opinion just not the smartest thing a domain owner can do.

Just this year Ferrari S.p.A. filed three separate UDRP’s and got these domain names:

Laferrari.com, BeverlyHillsFerrari.com, and FerrariDealer.com

Over the years Ferrari has filed UDRP’s against 33 domain names winning them all (Some were turned over after the UDRP was filed)

Another cautionary tale for all domainers.

This guy is spammer, sending out these emails to domainers for months. Can’t believe Elliot gave him a ‘guest post’ at http://www.elliotsblog.com/guest-post-end-user-follow-up

Well, turns out ‘Calvin’ or Ronnie, is connected to me on FB. I asked him that I get removed from the mailing list, and he was very responsive, which I appreciate. Anyone else having such issues, send him an email.

    Hello MHB

Is it any wonder some knuckle heads draw ire towards our Industry. Truly Sleezy, He has just sealed his fate.
