The domain name Vogel.com just sold for $75,000 on Sedo.com

Vogel is the dutch word for “bird”

The domain name was owned under privacy and is still owned on privacy.

Typically you will see domain names at this point into Sedo escrow which it’s not.

We will keep our eye.

Moreover “Vogel” is also the German word for “bird” (as also mentioned in the Wikipedia article) and here a very popular last name.

    Cracker ! Great price…a real “flyer” !!

Of course , both German and Dutch [ like English] , are West Germanic languages. Dutch is regarded by Germans as “Low German”. “Dutch” and Deutsch” come from the same root.

So many words are common to both Dutch and German.

By the way ,Smyl, I have Visit-Germany.co.uk. You Germans love hyphenated domains !! 20 per cent commission for whomsoever gets me a decent buyer.
    Any takers?

Someone can make a fortune from a web-site built around that beauty !

I hope I don’t get the “bird” for mentioning that !!
