According to an email we just received the popular daily newsletter, JustDropped.com just released an App for the iPhone
The newsletter has “well over 65,000 subscribers” and I have been using it for years as well.

Folks, creating AppS for iphone or android is easier than I thought. If you know how to do wordpress, creating Apps is easier.
I create apps for some of my sites, and the traffic gone up.
Kind of ironic. Apps don’t require a domain name.
Tommy–Apps don’t need domain name but but it is good to have domain name that goes with it.
Searching the name of the app is just like searching the name of the domain names- keywords

the problem is that apple controls the domain.
apple and facebook want to lure users off the web into their “walled gardens”.
but the open web, which uses domain names, is still king.
bulls is right. learn lua and you will see. but don’t count on apple or “app developers” to yell that from the rooftops.
you don’t need an iphone or ipad, or permission from apple, to make cool stuff for mobile devices.
and you could distribute them from any website, not just “apple.com”.
