    $9k is dirt cheap.

Flowers is one of the top product related keywords, but I think $9K is a reasonable price.

.ME just works much better with verbs than products.

By passing on Flowers.mobi, 1800flowers proved themselves obviously smarter than Schwartz

For sure they win Schwartz’s ‘they get it’ award

    LOL

With over 65% of Internet access now conducted via mobile phones and other mobile devices, its obvious that Flowers.mobi still represents the premium access mechanism to mobile content.

And 4g technology, which is now sweeping the world, only aids .mobi; so its hard to see how does this .me sale represents a blow to Schwartz’s smarts.

With 65% of all Internet access conducted via mobile phones and mobile devices, and with 4g mobile phone technology sweeping the world, .mobi and its relentless progress seems to be assured.

So thinking that this .me sale is a blow to Schwartz’s smarts, is premature to say the least.

Possibly they saw this domain as a credible threat if used by a competitor. Anecdotally it does seem a lot of .me names get developed and turn up in search results. There is a strong upward trend in .me registrations and if it continues this could look cheap in a few years time.

I never knew .me domains hold such big value. Anyone aware why .me domains are being sold for such high price?
