Zynga Announces Latest Game Castleville, But Did They Secure The Domain Castleville.com?

October 11, 2011 by Michael Berkens

According to TechCrunch.com the gaming company Zynga just announced their latest game and its called Castleville.

Castleville.com is under privacy at Godaddy.com and the domain doesn’t really resolve at the moment.

The domain was registered to someone in Shangha China using Tucows.com until August 8th when it went under privacy at Godaddy.com

So if one had to place a bet, it looks like Zynga may have acquired the domain prior to the announcement.

Of course I think they should have went with Hotelville instead but I’m prejudiced .

    Kevin

Zynga is with MarkMonitor.com but our friend at Fusible.com has gotten quite the reputation for finding and breaking new products based off of registrations so maybe Zynga is hiding it until the news broke

    We will see

Some would argue that ZYNGA will be one of the top 4096 Brands in the (new) TLD space (Note it is 5 letters 🙂 )

Then CastleVille.ZYNGA would be their move
    or
    Castle.Ville.ZYNGA

But they could also opt for pioneering the .Z space
    Castle.Ville.Z

    🙂 🙂 🙂

People have no idea what is being hidden – waiting for the market to evolve beyond the current Toy Internet(s)…

Thanks for the suggestion kind sir, will explore further.

Currently busy compiling my application and preparing to wire $186k to ICANN to apply for new gTLD .ICANN. Wish me luck.

Zynga keeps pumping out the -ville games, I wonder what’s next? Someone in China must be smiling.

I hope they make minimumwageville where you get to work your way up from hard labor to a line cook at Mc Donalds.
