As you maybe aware there are big problems in the Mr.  Murdoch empire with the News of the World Publication which was suddenly shut down after like over 100 years of publishing.

While Mr. Murdoch is trying to decide whether to publish the “Sunday Sun” someone grabbed that domain name way back in 2002.

  1. There’s already a newspaper in the UK called the Sunday Sun. I think News International is planning on calling it The Sun On Sunday. They registered a bunch of thesunonsunday and sunonsunday domains this week.

  5. They also own the newspaper called thesun.co.uk while thesun.com is a parking page, thats why luck is important in domaining, just because they can afford to buy it doesn’t mean they will …its always an option.

    Its drunken Sailor but we still haven’t figured out what the hell to do with them 😉

  6. I was incorrect earlier. While thesunonsunday.co.uk and others have been registered, it’s far from clear that News Corp was the registrant.

  7. They already own the best and most brandable domain to compliment the sun.co.uk daily and that is sunday.co.uk

    That why they use it to burn when their football/soccer team sucks
