Godaddy.com New Super Bowl Ad Is the Best Yet & Promtes New Domains: SmokingHotDreamGirl.com & SmokingHotDance.com

Godaddy.com got to love their marketing strategy.

If you don’t love it you at least have to admire it.

In its newest Super Bowl ad (they bought 2), called “Movies” featuring Danica Patrick recreating some very famous sexy movie scenes.

Patrick first re-creates actress Kelly LeBrock’s initial appearance in “Weird Science,” wearing a half-shirt and panties. Patrick tells two guys viewing her online, “So, you little maniacs want another domain name?”

Then she’s on to one of the most iconic scenes in all movies, that being the one from Flashdance (which made Jennifer Beals a star) sitting in a chair and having a wall of water spilled on her.

Then there is the recreation of the Marilyn Monroe scene from the seven year itch, where her skirt blows up from a subway vent reveiling some leg and was quite risque back in the day before the expression back in the day existed.

The ads not only mention Godaddy.com but the domains,  SmokingHotDreamGirl.com, SmokingHotDance.com.

Godaddy.com is not the run of the mill company, so don’t bother, they locked up those domains and they both resolve to their site at this point, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see them going to a page other than there main page by game time.

Like anyone, Godaddy is not perfect and they left the plurals of the advertised domains, SmokingHotDreamGirls.com and SmokingHotDances.com, unregistered.

Both are now registered by other parties, but at least they are registered at Godaddy.

It appears the Danica has a whole new career ahead of her.

I’d like to see godaddy promote something other than just domain registrations.

Maybe promote their auction platform or the place to get ‘the best names that aren’t available to hand-register’…

Not me I don’t need more competition in those auctions

I don’t find any of those girls attractive at all, Danica looks like a dude (sounds like one, too). Just saying!

The domain regs get people in the door, then they can show all their other products and services. You have to hand it to Godaddy, they know how to sell, and they have lots of coupon codes to give you a chance to get a deal.

We all should thank GoDaddy for putting a good word out about the domain industry.

Any stats on domain sales after the godaddy commercials?

If Danica looks like a dude I guess I must be gay. Just saying!

I just saw the link to their ads, and have now hand-registered:
Just in case the above-described ad is the one selected, and even though Godaddy is using 3-4 word domains in the ad, I just gambled $68 that the term “smoking hot” might become a fad after the Super Bowl– I just hand-registered these nine related domains:

    SMOKINGHOTDANCERS.COM
    SMOKINGHOTCAMGIRLS.COM
    SMOKINGHOTPORNO.COM
    SMOKINGHOTAMATEURS.COM
    SMOKINGHOTDATES.COM
    SMOKINGHOTMILF.COM
    SMOKINGHOTSALES.COM
    SMOKINGHOTPORNSTARS.COM
    SMOKINGHOTHOOKUP.COM
