by Michael H. Berkens

Yahoo announced today it plans to spend more than $100 million on its new marketing campaign over the next 15 months.

The multimedia campaign will be launched in the United States next week, in the United Kingdom and India in October, and other countries next year, around the tag line: “It’s You”.

However, the domain name itsyou.com doesn’t belong to Yahoo.

ItsYou.com belongs to domainer, Gregg Ostrick.

Somehow I don’t think Mr. Ostrick will be similar to the omg.com domain owner who sold way too cheap imho.

Btw when is yahoo/msft gonna buy out marchex and the big portfolios already..only other way to get critical mass besides facebook to compete with google ads.

    It’s You.
Isn’t that what the used car dealer kept saying to Arnold Schwarzenegger’s character in True Lies?

Why don’t Yahoo! go with a nice jingles Yahoo.its.me (they will probably buy it from Mr Zoric for some $10,000 or even less).

They can always go with its.me or thats.me. Jingling names, valid URLs. Unlike SONY’s like.no.other.

    What do you think?

By the way, last year Microsoft had “I’m a PC – and it’s all about me” – don’t you see it as a small clone?
