725 Emoji Domains Expire Next Week 🌊

June 9, 2018 by Alvin Brown 7 Comments

It’s been a while since the emoji domain grinch came a knocking on the door for emoji domain renewal payment.

The grinch of emoji domains is back at it as 725 emoji domains expire in auction this upcoming week.

Out the the 725, there are only 10 Single .WS emoji domains worth considering, if you’re into emoji domains with skin tones:

🤟🏿.ws
🤟🏾.ws
🤟🏽.ws
🤟🏼.ws
🤟🏻.ws
🤲🏻.ws
🤲🏼.ws
🤲🏽.ws
🤲🏾.ws
🤲🏿.ws

The remaining 700+ emoji domains expiring in auction consist mostly of “I❤[keyword].ws” domain pattern.

There are likely diamonds in the rough, but I wouldn’t count on that being the case — seeing switching back and forth from emoji to qwerty keyboard can be a bit challenging for mobile and desktop users when typing emoji and ASCII combo emoji domains.

In addition, the only perceivably “hot” emoji domains are currently single emoji domains — based on watching and reporting weekly expiring emoji domain auctions.

And although action has been quiet on the emoji domain sales front since unconfirmed sales reported in early April, it’s likely to heat up a bit in 2019 as over 100 new emoji domains have been proposed for Unicode Version 12.

But for now, we’ll wait to see what activity this week’s auctions brings about.

In closing and as always, perform your own due diligence to limit risk, yet increase the likelihood of realizing a sound domain investment.

That’s all for now!

Is it technically possible to add a domain behind a dot instead of in front of it?
