Godaddy’s Founder Bob Parsons reemerges As The Harley King

Bob Parsons, best known as the founder of GoDaddy.com, has reemerged as as the King of Harley Davidson dealerships, announcing the acquisition of Southern Thunder Harley-Davidson in Southaven, Mississippi by his company YAM Worldwide.

Southern Thunder is Parsons’ first acquisition outside of Arizona.

The deal also includes two popular alternative retail outlets, Graceland Harley-Davidson and Blues City Harley-Davidson, located in Memphis, Tennessee.

Parsons is He is the CEO and founder of award-winning dealerships Harley-Davidson of Scottsdale and Go AZ Motorcycles.

Under Parsons’ direction Harley-Davidson of Scottsdale, purchased in January of 2012, has rocketed to a status as one of the top performing Harley-Davidson dealerships in the country.

Go AZ Motorcycles, which carries nine of the world’s top brands, is rated North America’s number one power sports dealership by PowerSports Business Magazine.

Parsons is also the founder and CEO of Spooky Fast Customs which uses state-of-the-art technology and techniques to create customized motorcycle designs and fabrications.

“We are excited to introduce Southern Thunder Harley-Davidson into our family of dealerships,” said Parsons. “We have a real opportunity to leverage the seasonality of the Arizona and Mississippi markets and the talent at all three dealerships to deliver a world-class customer experience.”

The dealership is the second Harley-Davidson dealership in the country to achieve Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification and the eighth building of any type to achieve similar status in Mississippi.
