Apple.com: 2 BILLION Apps Downloaded & 85,000 Apps Online

Apple announced today that more than two billion apps have been downloaded from its App Store, including more than half a billion apps this quarter alone.

Apple also announced that are more than 85,000 apps on its store and over 125,000 developers in Apple’s iPhone Developer Program.

The numbers are truly staggering and a demonstration of the unprecedented power of the Internet.

Shares of Apple at up over $3 to $185.

    Has any of the creators of the apps or Apple bought a domain for one of the apps? I own the .com for one of the app names but don’t know if it has any value at all.
