Yesterday we wrote about Mitch Winehouse who announced plans for the Amy Winehouse Foundation before securing domain name.
Mitch called those who registered the domain a “dick head” for doing so
“I’m not exploiting anything yet. I’ve just bought some domain names. Anybody could have. It only takes the click of a mouse,” McCann told the Sun.
“I’m not ashamed or embarrassed. Detach yourself from emotions and think business.”
“He (Mitch) is making every effort to hijack this charity to satiate his own needs for the charity. ”

Dick head as dick head does I say, so far as I am concerned the lot of you domainers are pond scum, and not dick heads at all unless proved otherwise.
He’s not a dickhead. He’s a major dickhead. He didn’t just register the domain name, he actually registered “Amy Winehouse Foundation” with the government as a company, which prevents Winehouse’s family from using that name at all.

LONDON — Amy Winehouse’s family says toxicology tests show there were no illegal drugs in her system when she died.
They say the tests showed “alcohol was present,” but it hasn’t yet been determined if it played a role in the singer’s death last month.
The 27-year-old soul diva was found dead in her London home on July 23, and an initial post-mortem failed to determine the cause of death.
A statement released Tuesday by spokesman Chris Goodman on the family’s behalf said “toxicology results returned to the Winehouse family by authorities have confirmed that there were no illegal substances in Amy’s system at the time of her death.”
It said the family awaited the outcome of an inquest that is due to begin in October.

Guys like this really hinder the domain industry from reaching the legitimacy it deserves in mainstream. He’s a scumbag, plain and simple, and he knows it.
There are people in this industry who would say that he can manage his business any way he wishes and all that matters is RESULTS!!!!
No father could have been more dedicated to his suffering daughter’s health and welfare than Mitch Winehouse. He is a man to be admired for his honest and charitable desire to help so many families who are suffering in many ways. It is not business, no way is it business. Someone who by choice deprives honest charitable works from achieving their objective is sub-human, without principles or ethics, far worse than any of the recent rioters in London. There is no name low enough to describe them, they are the lowest form of existance. To describe such a person as a business man is insulting to all legitimate business men. Even if it may not be a crime I say such actions indicate criminal intent and should, by law, be prevented. Amy Jade Winehouse, daughter of Mitch, may not be the only Amy Winehouse, but in this case she is the only Amy Winehouse whose name counts and whose past fame can be used to save other sufferers lives from the fate which may have resulted in her own untimely death, or am I missing the point?

It’s one thing to register a domain in the hope of a sale or a few clicks, but to register it also as a limited company can only mean that he has some ideas about hijacking money meant for the purposes of the intended foundation.

There is not much that separates this guy from many of the guys who are well known and respected in lala I mean domainland. Didn’t Greg McNair say recently that the domain business was built on this kind of behaviour? Looks like this guy read that article and has taken it to heart. In reality this guy could well be your next DOMAINER OF THE YEAR! Others have gone on from this kind of thing to claim the prize but lets be honest here, this pales in comparison to the bullshit scams and skullduggery that many of the most famous domainers have perpetrated. It is nice to see you guys bein all high n mighty though, it send out the right message. Perhaps a new slogan for domainers is in order. How about, “do no evil”, oh, wait
