The auctions for both Slots.co and Denver.Co are in overtime and each are scheduled to end in the next day.

Currently Slots.co has a high bid of $41K and Denver.co has a high bid of $40,050.

So like a horse race they are here neck and neck coming down the stretch.

The question is which of these 2 domains will sell for more, Slots.co or Denver.co

I would rather own Denver.co personally. If you are using .CO as a hack for Colorado it is the best GEO possible.

With that said I would not pay anywhere near the current price for either.

Slots.co for sure. Another great gambling domain.

They’re both worth over $250,000 in my opinion.

Anything below that is a steal.

Lets see if I get this straight.
If I recall, these actions are just the “LAND RUSH” auctions.

If I am not mistaken, after these are done there will be MORE and better auctions coming from .CO.
Back me up if you remember this but there is about 2,000 Premium names that have been withheld by the .CO company with the expressed intentions to auction off within the year after the launch.
So these auctions here are only landrush names that need to be sorted out and the other 2,000 names that have been withheld will come out later in the year.
I also seem to recall that those name will be a public auction and not invitation only like the ones we have here.
Possible chance to see prices go higher???
I dont know but something to think about.

    Cheers

    Slate

Correct these are land rush auctions only opened to the people who placed applications.

The registry has thousands of reserved domains, including more single letters and two letter domains.

Whether they are “better” than the ones we are seeing now I guess are in the eyes of the beholder.

I understand we may see an auction as soon as December, maybe even in conjunction with the ICANN meeting in Colombia.

Those will be in a public auction.

I also would expect Sedo at some point to hold an online auction of some of these domains as they did handle E.Co

Sorry… You got me. I didnt mean “better” because that is subjective.
I am merely trying to get my point across that maybe the .CO craze may be alive and well for the foreseeable future.
There have been several detractors pleading their case that .CO will go the way of the dinosaur just as quickly as it came in.
I still believe that .CO is a speculative domain (at least for the time being) but I also feel that it will be around for a little while longer making waves.
Love it or hate it… I will be here for a bit.

    Cheers

Oh I forgot to mention that I do think that we will probably see prices go up when they are OPEN auctions.
Which of course would be wonderful for the .CO domains as a whole.

    Cheers

    Wow, two big names.

In spite of my own hopes that slots will be the highest, given my earlier post re my 3 slots domains, I think Denver.co will blow it away. I mean, you can’t really ask for more in a geo web address than the city and state code all in one package.

I stand by my earlier predictions of $50-200 k for Slots.co I would put Denver north of $100k and a bargain below it anywhere.

And, I did by my first .co today and registered http://www.Haan.co

DowntownDenver.co is listed on DNForum with a reserve in the low hundreds. Yes it is mine…

slots.co and i think denver.co will run above 60k and a chance to run 80k

over hype and i feel sorry for the hype on .co buyers..

and no denver.com would want to buy .co, they want .co to be up and more traffic to .com

    Denver.co breaks $50K.

The affiliate programs for online gaming are very lucrative.
As a typo- with Bodog planning to roll out a full scale and potentially heavily marketed slots.com- there’s a reason big money is chasing after the .co, and it has nothing to do with Columbia, or the legitimacy of .co as a repurposed gTLD.

Ls Morgan, you are a disgrace to domainers all around the world

Stop copying someone else’s stupid words without double quotes.

    socialsecuritydisability.co $6,900

    locksmith.co $10,000

    forsalebyowner.co $13,500

    cityjobs.co $4,600

    aobo.co $6,800

    vehicles.co $18,500

    airporttransfers.co $3,200

    oilcareers.co $3,200

apart these two domains, the use of .co for sites from (or about) Colorado is one of the best possible

    Copying someone elses words?
Is this yet another in a long line of things that you say out loud (like my tyopsquatting), that has no basis in reality and when asked to back it up, you go silent, or start babbling about something different?

In other news, still not willing to put your money where your mouth is on a wager regarding the TLD that you love to prattle about, but aren’t willing to back up any of your own statements with a wager?

I’m not a domainer. You are; and a typical one, at that.

@Ls maybe you should consider being a domainer and grab some good domains and realize the importance of them vs your junk websites? oh wait you your on domain forums, your ego and domain blogs.. forgot your not a domainer after all.. funny stuff…

    LS buying .co
