Domain space will change continuously after ICANN starts allocating new TLDs, even though there will hardly be any effect on the dominance of .com extension.

Mike,
I assume they will have a registrar meeting in Brussels so you will be able to attend that since you own your own private registrar.

Mike, I attended two of the three shows, and I would summarize them this way:

DomainFest is where you go to make a deal, and Domainer Mardi Gras is where you go to celebrate a deal.

I plan on attending both shows again next year. Congratulations to the organizers of both of these excellent events.

Mike,

It was a pleasure to meet you at both DomainFest and DMG, Your wife and yourself were great people to spend some time with.

Look forward to seeing you possibly at TRAFFIC in SB, if not then for sure at a show next year.

And I would agree, even though attendance was not huge at DMG and there was plenty of party time the networking opportunities were really great actually. As much as I appreciate a larger show like DomainFest I think the casual nature of DMG allowed for easier networking without trying to run from meeting to meeting.

Mike--You and every other domain investor who cares about how ICANN decisions may affect the value and security of their portfolio should absolutely attend an ICANN meeting, and the one in Brussels (June 20-25) is clearly an excellent opportunity in an attractive and readily reachable venue.
I know several domainers who attended the winter 2007 meeting in Los Angeles, and found it a very eye-opening and worthwhile experience. We need more members of the domain investment community at these events - and if ICA sees fit to dispatch me to Brussels I'll be happy to offer guidance on what's going on and how best to participate to any domainer in attendance.
