You Got A Spare $250 Million Laying Around? You Maybe Able To Buy Hooters (Domain Name Comes With)

According to the New York Post,  Hooters is shopping itself around for an undisclosed amount but which is estimated to be by analysts the Post talked to in the $250 Million dollar range.

Hooters’ has 450 owned and franchised restaurants and of course also owns the domain Hooters.com.

What does this have to do with domaining you ask?

Honestly not much but as I’m packing for New Orleans and the Domainer’s Mardi Gras show, how could I pass up a chance to write about Hooters?

From Wikipedia for those not in the US etc.
“Hooters is a restaurant with a waitstaff primarily made up of attractive, scantily-clad waitresses, though the company also employs other males/females as cooks, hosts (at some franchises), busboys, and managers…”

450 restaurants but the 5600 employees are the best a$$ets minus the fry cooks.

Super cool show. Before putting a bid in, see the Hooters CEO go undercover as an entry level employee.
