Well of course TaiwanMobile.com auction must have been a mistake, it’s one of the biggest (if not the biggest) mobile operator in Taiwan and this auction is as abusrd as would be auction of virginmobileusa.com that’s why I even did not bother to bid on it

However even if so that wouldn’t explain why this domain was auctioned off when it was not expired and still in use by the registrant

I had called namejet once about non-expired names at auction, because I wanted to list one. I was told that some names may be for auction due to other reasons such as invalid whois violations, etc… If you lose your domain for some other kind of reason it can end up there as well I believe.
