When I search for some of my domains on Bing.com, they attempt to ignore any domain pointed towards a ppc site. Even if you put the domain exactly into the search box.

Google and MS want to put us out of business. I don't want to help either one of them.

I hope Bing.com crushes Google and Yahoo!. And I think all domainers should be promoting Bing.com.

The reason, their search algorithm puts some serious weight on the domain.

Reece

comScore did not release figures for the 2 week period for the other search engines, so at this point it is just a guess as to whom expense, the additional bing.com search traffic is coming from.

We will keep you updated.

On the surface, the numbers look promising.

However, you have to take into consideration -

1. They have been extensively advertising on TV and print for the past couple weeks.
2. A lot of press coverage.
3. Something new and different.
4. They were already at the bottom of the rankings so any upward movement looks impressive.

Million dollar question - Is the interest sustainable?

I think Bing ought to buy Wolfram Alpha -- it'd give them something MSFT's conpetitors don't have. It would certainly make Bing popular with the younger crowd for it's ability to do all their math homework.

If I'm reading this correctly, this would mean Google's market share is probably around 60-62% now down from 65%? I'm all for Google getting more competition :)
