GoDirect.com Sells for $15K At NameJet.com

It was a busy week at NameJet.com with all the registry .Me auctions.

Yesterday an interesting domain, Godirect.com sold for $15,100.

Godirect.gov is a site where you go if you want to sign up for direct deposits of government benefits.  The .gov site gets a lot of traffic, compete.com shows it getting over 70K visitors a month.  Compete also shows the .com ranging from 2,500-5,000 visitors a month.

The term “go direct” seems to be trademarked.

Here are other notable sales (non .me domains) for the last few days at NameJet. (You can see all .me sales from this week here)

golfcourses.org            $10,005
parentalguide.org        $5,599
digitialmedia.com       $5,100 (typo)
dadou.com                    $4,201
jeffs.com                        $3,701
mexicotours.com         $3,450
coast.net                        $2,600
tampadui.com              $2,511
soundmedia.com         $2,322
discounttravel.org       $2,268
bluegrassreport.com    $2,100
bibleclub.com                $1,600

badtimes.com               $1,400

Good to see the Namejet prices are back to the crazy levels I’m expecting.

However, digitialmedia.com for $5,100 is just plain nuts! I might pay that for the correct spelling but the typo is worth regfee if that.

I picked up musiicdownloads.com for $7 and still had 2nd thoughts about it and only Estibot’s 10K valuation made me feel bettter LOL.

The digitialmedia domain was bid up that high on the pre-release bidding, it didn’t move once the actual auction opened up, so I think you will see that one back at re-auction for non-payment.
