It’s worst, etang in french is a singular word that means a small salted lake.
So I am also curious of the buyer motivations.

Was my prior comment purposely blocked?

    I’d just like to know.

    Thanks.

    Never mind, maybe something happened.

My comment was that I don’t speak French but Reece Berg does
and he says on his blog today that Etang actually means “little Lake”
with a meaning similar to the word “Pond” in English.

He also wonders if the Bidders actually knew what they were bidding on.

    i.e. “Pond” instead of “Lake”.

    and
on his blog today he asks “Is Etang worth the $35,603 it sold on NameJet for?”

    Patrick

Just to be clear we do not ‘block” comments, but anytime you put a link in your comments, it has to be manually approved, its the only way I can keep the spam and crap out.

    Hi,

    Understood.

Would it be okay to put a reference link that’s not active like
    TheDomains.com?

Obviously I was not promoting anything which I know you realize.

I have to say it: industryresearch.com for $2,401?

A rare $10K name that Namejet bidders fell asleep on.

    Patrick

It’s not a question of promoting or not promoting, its a question of protecting the blog from getting hundreds of spam comments every day, if I don’t auto reject any comment or post with a link, mine, your or otherwise

    MHB,

    I understand.

The problem was I did not get the notice “Your comment is awaiting moderation”.

Then when I saw Francois’ post but not mine it made me wonder if I had done or said something.

But all cleared up and understood.

    Thanks.

    Taxo.com @ $1,650 was a nice buy IMO.
