I will state that I bet more than 95% of the names purchased yesterday were at great ROI for the seller….even those that were sold in the $300 – $1K range. most were purchased for $7 – $10 so that is exception ROI in any investment.

There are a bunch of names still available so if you are having second thoughts on some that you want to buy, we are working with sellers to get them sold. Just contact Sales@moniker.com with the domain you are interested in….as we work the after auction list pretty hard. Yesterday’s total was a very respectable $459K and we will go well over $500K with after auction deals.

I sold 1 (PdaPhones.org @ $360) out of 6 and bought 1 out of 1.

I’m a little disappointed about my sale because I thought that it might get more bids in the end but unfortunately first bid was placed in last 25 minutes (by BuyDomains) .. I’m still happy about my purchase though.

Overall, I expected more sales in the extended auction.

I agree with MHB. One word dotcoms rarely drop and when they do they normally go for much higher than $300 regardless of how impractical they may sound. As for healthytreat.com, I can get domains that are worth more than that for reg fee almost every day. Healthytreats.com, on the other hand, would’ve been worth buying for $300.

But I agree with you. Bottom line, to each their own.

OxygenTanks.com, DrillPress.com & Harpoons.com are decent but can’t go wrong with products.

GreatFalls.com is a good geo. Could probably do better but good.

Some nice riskier brandables, really like technologynews, like manhattanguide, or scariest which I picked up for Halloween/Horror genre.

A domain of mine that sold for $300 is listed as $360. It was originally priced at $360, but I requested a reduction, and the bid history clearly shows just one bid at $300. I assume that this is an exception, and that the other sales figures in that list are accurate.

GreatFalls.com is a nice geo .com! When I was last there, 35 years ago, there was a big billboard at the edge of town that just said, “It’s a great day in Great Falls!” I agree that with proper development, this domain should repay the sales price many times over.

Bashfulness was a bargain ? To each their own, what someone would do with that domain I have no idea. I mean something practical that will make money not the typical “oh you can do that etc………” I would take HealthyTreat.com over bashfulness.com for the same money approximately.

.biz must really suck if Bar can only get $932.

Interesting. I knew the auction was going on but didn’t bother checking. Definitely a handful that I would’ve placed a bid on. Oh well.
