Let’s Take Note: Senator Snowe Is Only 1 of 3 Republicans To Vote For Stimulus Bill: Why This Maybe Bad News For Domainers

As you may know the Stimulus bill passed the Senate today with only 3 Republicans voting for the bill.

What you may not know if that 1 of the 3 Republicans voting for the bill, is our old friend Senator Olympia Snowe from the great state of Maine, whom was the  named sponsored the Snowe Bill last year.

As you will recall, and if you don’t read the original post, was an overwhelmingly bad piece of legislation for all domain holders.

Tonight, an influential conservative political action committee, The National Republican Trust PAC,  is pledging to support primary challenges to any Republican senator who backed the economic stimulus package.

Scott Wheeler, the executive director of the committee was quoted as saying that:

“Republican senators are on notice,”

“If they support the stimulus package, we will make sure every voter in their state knows how they tried to further bankrupt voters in an already bad economy.”

However, Senator Snowe’s seat is not up until 2012.

Until that time, her vote for the bill, in joining Democratic Senators, may come back to haunt the domain industry, in the you scratch my back I scratch yours, world of politics, when she puts her name on new trademark legislation later this year.

Take note domainers.

she gave too much…she’s don when this bill “stimulates” nothing but more debt and more economic decline. look for a new senator to back your cause because in four years.
