Funny how 3-char domains make it to the catchdroppers these days :) I used to hand register them by the dozens and then seller them (around 2001-2003)

3-char domains are worthless IMHO. It is better to invest in one-few three letters .com instead.

I agree its better to invest in three letter .com, but I won’t say all three character .com are worthless.

What good are 3 char domains?? Why should you hold onto to them by the dozens or hundreds as some people do?

I flipped many of them back in the day for a healthy profit but I haven’t had any of them in my registrar accounts for a good few years now.

Personally, I’m not a buyer of three character domains, nor do I acquire 4 letter domains, but a lot of people do.

Mike, yes me neither… There is a lot of people making bad investments in domain names. We can make a very long list of the worst types and 3 char names or 4 letter acronyms wouldn’t even be in the top 10 :)

…exactly 400 days later, once the domain expires, is when you see the reality. It’s fun stuff following the drops this days and seeing people letting 1000s of their once most prized domains expiring day after day.

They swore they were worth $100s or whatever… Right !

    Best,
    Mike
