Actually, Ray, the reason is that woman’s names; unlike men’s; are able (when done right) to “give birth” to other names…usually for birth/reg fees only.

Though caesarian domain births can be quite unpleasant…

Are personal name domains worth anything?
As in names like Brian.com or brian.info? Is there any demand for those type of names?

When it comes to someone registering a personal first name and last name that is not theirs as a domain name from someone else that should NOT be allowed but when it comes to first names or last names only that should be OK since many people have first / last names similar at least that is how I see it.
