This whole hoopla on Yahoo could be tiring. Jerry Yang might be smart in many aspects of technology but I don't think he is smart in all decisions making. This is the same guy who turned down the offer to buy Google [at infancy] for paltry $4 million - a mistake, he probably would live with for the rest of his life. Now he is getting another big shot with Microsoft but he’s being posed by "founding father syndrome" I just don't think he is doing the best for Yahoo! Only synergy (with likes of MS) can make Yahoo more innovative and very competitive. Yang need to get over it, man..

The reason Google’s second-quarter profit disappointed investors is because the investors EXPECT unrealistic $ returns on their investments (many of them are motivated by greed) - some things are JUST not to be - they can NOT get all the cake.

Yahoo on the other hand can capitalize on their business - in many way's all they have to do is copy google (aquire other non english ad placing company's or form partnerships with them).
