Great post - Israel.com domain name could be taken by the Israel Government so the new owner may waste it's money.

Israel.com is not a good buy.

I personally find this particular domain an interesting yardstick by which to measure the real time status of the .com extension
Israel a new State, it's people steeped in history and in some ways the modern worlds conscience
Will highest price take what the domain industry considers to be most prestigious marketable extension for the foreseeable future fall into any hands
Will an Israeli institution or individual consider Israel.com as the future public access highway ? because if they do not "get it" now then perhaps it was just smoke and mirrors

Estibot has been uncanny on how close their appraisals have been..In general, i have found estibot almost perferct for names that exceed 100k plus or minus 20% of its appraised value

That being said, estibot values this name at 690k.

Owner is highly unrealistc.
